For Felix Monsen a sigh of relief: there is no damage to the head, visit to Innsbruck for the knee

Protagonist of a very bad fall in the second test in Val Gardena, the 27-year-old Swede was first visited in Bressanone, but is already headed to Austria for a more in-depth analysis on the conditions of his left knee.

It made everyone worry, with that long stop in the heart of a training on the Saslong that experienced a long thrill, for the flight of Felix Monsen who could also have closed his season in Val Gardena prematurely. The first news, however, is positive and comes from the Bressanone hospital where the 27-year-old Swede, one of the emerging sprinters of the circuit and already 2nd in Wednesday's test: the Scandinavian federation has confirmed in fact that there are no head injuries or to the vertebral area, but "only" the damage to the left knee, to be carefully evaluated in the next few hours in Innsbruck. The coach of the Swedish national team, Charly Pichler, explained that Felix has always remained conscious and recalled what happened, with the medical manager Jakob Svanberg who ruled out further problems after the first tests carried out.
