A historic satisfaction for the Drusciè Cortina ski club. The company chaired by Flavio Alberti will in fact be at the start of the first race of the Alpine Ski World Cup, that is to say the men's giant of Soelden on October 18th, thanks to Stefano Baruffaldi's call-up to the blue. "In our young history, we had never trod a stage as important as the World Cup, a goal that for a civil club is really something rare and very important - comments the number 1 of the Cortinese association - We will do it in a few days thanks to Stefano, an athlete who at the end of last season gave us confidence by choosing to wear our tracksuit. The hope of all of us is that the gate of Rettenbach can be not only a goal, but a springboard ”.
The 28-year-old from Dervio is ready: "We did four days of skiing here in Soelden, next week I'll do another three with the team in Senales - says Baruffaldi, 71st in the world giant ranking - The preparation is going well, we are not they were physical hiccups and I am determined.
