The Austria of Schwarz, Feller and Matt, for the first time orphan of Marcel Hirscher, is preparing the appointment of Levi (24 November) on the snows of Reiteralm, where the ski resort has just opened allowing the athletes of home of work in ideal conditions, avoiding the classic trip to Kabdalis, in Sweden.
The eaglets, which certainly have fallen short of expectations in the Soelden opening, although they do not have many chances in a specialty like the giant, aim decidedly high for a podium result on the "Black Levi", where in the past they have all the men of the red and white attacking trident did well: we're talking about Michael Matt, second in 2016 behind Hirscher, the new father Manuel Feller, fifth in the same edition, and the returning Marco Schwarz, who in Lapland has as best result the 10th place 12 months ago, but he was still fighting for the podium at least in 2016, when he derailed after a few doors in the decisive run, once he signed the 2nd time in the 1st round.
The Carinthian himself (pictured this morning on the track with Feller) is clearly awaited, given that Levi will be back in the race nine months after Bansko's injury which saw him finish early last season and forced him to to skip the Soelden giant.
