The FIS has formalized the recovery of the fifth seasonal specialty race for men: on the track on Thursday 13 January in the Swiss temple, then the two descents and the slalom.

After having had to raise the white flag first in Lake Louise, then on the day of recovery set last Thursday in Bormio, when the high temperatures prevented the dispute of the test that would have concluded the triptych on the Stelvio, here an agreement was found with Wengen to expand the number of races scheduled on the Lauberhorn to four in mid-January.
The fifth seasonal specialty race, the last one before the Olympics (then there will be only Kvitfjell and the Courchevel-Méribel finals), will then be staged on Thursday 13 January on the Swiss snow, canceling one of the three timed trials, which will be held then Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12.
The two descents remain on the calendar for Friday 14 and Saturday 15, then on Sunday 16 the slalom to close an extraordinary stage, after the absence of 2021 due to Covid. Previous? Recently only in the European Cup, with Mattia Casse winning in 2017 ...
