Excellent training days for Vinatzer and companions, as well as for the women's quartet.

From Cortina to the Val di Fassa. If on the one hand the world championships began with two cancellations in series and not even on Wednesday they will compete, the Azzurri who we will see as protagonists in the second week of the world championship are training great on the “Aloch” in Pozza.
An important support for the Italian national team, which can count on the hospitality offered by an excellent ski area, to which is added the possibility of sustaining profitable training sessions in absolute tranquility, with specially prepared tracks. The first to arrive in Val di Fassa, last Sunday, were the slalomists Irene Curtoni, Lara Della Mea, Martina Peterlini and Anita Gulli (the latter is the only one not called up for the World Championships, but prepares the races in March in CdM), reached the following day by male colleagues.
We are talking about the quartet that will face the last world championship race, Sunday 21 February, namely Alex Vinatzer (who won the title of junior world champion on the Aloch in 2019), Manfred Moelgg, Giuliano Razzoli and the host Stefano Gross. The two groups are led by their respective coaches, Matteo Guadagnini and Jacques Theolier, with the slalom races that will stop in Pozza di Fassa until February 15th, while the males will rest after the last training session on Thursday 11th.
Together with the Azzurri of the World Cup groups, also the athletes of the junior men's national team, Tommaso Saccardi, Manuel Ploner and Filippo Della Vite, will participate in the training sessions, scheduled until Friday. Finally, to complete the blue patrol present in Val di Fassa there are the athletes of the female European Cup of giant group, Asja Zenere and Ilaria Ghisalberti, who will stay until Friday. For all of them there will be the opportunity to train at their best, while the Consorzio Impianti in Fune Val di Fassa - Carezza is eagerly awaiting the decisions that the government will take regarding the times and methods of reopening the ski resorts.
