Twelve months ago, "Bax" surprised everyone with an amazing first heat, starting with bib 31 (the same he will have on Saturday, given that he is 46th in the discipline and the points of the general WCSL are used to arrive close to 30), taking the ninth time before dropping nine places in the second. The next day she came out when the points mission was already done, but even a few weeks later in Semmering, the 25-year-old from Borgo San Dalmazzo impressed in the first heat and then derailed in the final. At that point, Marta decided to think about the fight for the giant cup and only played in the slalom of the Lenzerheide finals, her thirteenth in the World Cup. Saturday and Sunday will be his third time in Levi (where he competed also in 2018) and a double important occasion, as well as for the whole blue group led by Martina Peterlini, the only one in 30 (32nd in WCSL, but it will be inside with some absences) and capable of a 7th place in Jasna, in the final of last season, who has already told us a lot about the potential of the young woman from thirty. TO COPPER MOUNTAIN In the meantime, after a day of rest last Sunday, the last week of preparation on the fast disciplines for the Azzurri present at Copper Mountain has begun. The female multipurpose team, with the addition of Sofia Goggia and Federica Brignone, will then move towards Vermont, as on 27 and 28 September there will be giants and slaloms on the Killington “Superstar”; the men, on the other hand, will leave Colorado over the weekend to head to Lake Louise, where the tests of the two inaugural runs of the season will begin next Tuesday.
