First historic championship medal for Italy with a team for three quarters very young wins the bronze in the team competition of the World Championships of Are.

The Blues have beaten in the first two rounds Finland and Norway then in the semifinals they have surrendered to Austria only for the sum of the times, finally in the final for the bronze they beat Germany thanks to a puncture of Linus Strasser just before it came out of the track in the decisive challenge Alex Vinatzer. MVP blue Lara Della Mea who has won all her challenges less than the one with the Austrian Katharina Liensberger but only because she was wrong.
The historic gold, the first in a world championship, went to Switzerland, which doubles with the Olympic PyeongChang 2018 beating Austria for a sum of time thanks mainly to a Wendy Holdener and a Ramon Zenhaeusern simply impressive. The Confederation boys have thrown out Sweden's hosts in the quarter-finals. The United States is blatantly absent. Here is the detail of all the rounds of the race.
