August and September on the snow for the Wunderteam champions, while Marcel Hirscher is ready to carry out the first tests individually, as usual ...

If the champion of Annaberg should put his skis back on by Ferragosto, almost certainly on the snows of Molltaler, the Austrian national teams have prepared a decidedly varied work program that has to deal with the difficult snow conditions in the Chilean mountains.
The sprinters of the male sector, in fact, will soon fly to Ushuaia, rather than between Portillo, La Parva and Valle Nevado as originally planned; for Matthias Mayer, Vincent Kriechmayr, Hannes Reichelt, Max Franz and Otmar Striedinger, an appointment then in the Argentinian town (which will also see a good part of the Azzurri groups from the end of August, ed) from 9 to 27 August. "Of course it is a pity, but the current situation would not allow for high-level training," explained home director OSV, Andreas Puelacher.
The group led by Sepp Brunner will also meet the giant slalom team of the new manager Benjamin Prantner, since the quartet formed by Brennsteiner, Leitinger, Meier and the young Feurstein will prepare for Ushuaia in the same period; the second Austrian speed team, on the other hand, will train in Saas Fee from 13 to 23 August.
World Cup slalom session: for Michi Matt, Manuel Feller, Christian Hirschbuehel and Marc Digruber (with the doubt linked to Marco Schwarz, returning from the accident and still waiting to see if he will recover in time), preparation from 19 to August 29 in Saas Fee and no trip to New Zealand, as instead happened in 2018, where the young people of the second group of technical disciplines (Gstrein, Raschner, Strolz and Graf) will go from August 11th to September 4th.
FEMALE SECTOR ... IN HALF
There is still some unknowns linked to the female sector of Austria, given that in speed there are four luxury injuries, and we are talking about Anna Veith, Cornelia Huetter, Christine Scheyer and Christina Ager, who still have to define dates and places of return on skis.
They will train at the Stelvio, with two training sessions scheduled from 6 to 9 August and from 12 to 15 of the same month, the other girls of the World Cup sprinter group, stars like Nicole Schmidhofer, Ramona Siebenhofer, Stephanie Venier, Mirjam Puchner and Tamara Tippler, before moving to Saas Fee and to South America in September, from 4 to 20 on the Chilean snow of La Parva. Similar program for the young women who will then ski in Valle Nevado, while the giant team is already ready for the start towards Ushuaia. From August 8th to 29th, Brem, Brunner and companions will work three full weeks.
There will be so much curiosity about the Olympic medalist Katharina Gallhuber, returning after the serious injury that caused her to miss the entire last season, which will carry out the first real training sessions at the Stelvio, with the group of slalom players, from 19 to 23 and then from August 30th until September 3rd, before moving to Saas Fee.
