The FIS has officially confirmed the first Italian stage of the men's World Cup, as well as the women's challenges on the Oreiller-Killy, scheduled for Saturday 18 (downhill) and Sunday 19 (super-g).

A double snow check in today's morning and green light for both stages of the World Cup.
After the weekends of 11-12 December between Val d''Isère (men's giant and slalom) and Sankt Moritz (women's double super-g), the maximum circuit will arrive in Italy with the jet men engaged in Val Gardena, a great classic that has had a master in recent times, the amazing Aleksander Aamodt Kilde who returned to victory just yesterday in Beaver Creek.
The Norwegian ''92 class took home both speed events on the Saslong in 2020, and on 17 and 18 December will go hunting for other successes in the super-g first and then in the downhill (races both set at 11.45) . There will be two tests, Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16.
Everything is ok also for the third consecutive stage with the female speed, which will be the protagonist again on the “Oreiller-Killy” of Val d''Isère, on the weekend of 18-19 December. First the descent, won last year by Corinne Suter and Sofia Goggia (she competed twice within 24 hours), then the super-g which in 2020 saw the Olympic champion Ester Ledecka rejoice.
The program of the Critérium de la Première Neige, which will start the previous week with the two men's technical tests on the Face de Bellevarde, for women will start on Thursday 16 with the first of the two scheduled tests. The descent on Saturday 18 will begin at 10.30, the super-g the following day at 11.00.
