Norway and Germany also present themselves: here are the choices for the 2020/2021 season

The Scandinavians with "reduced budget and a lot of work on our snows, but we will be ready", says the director of the Alpine skiing sector Norge, Claus Johan Ryste.

Two important national teams like Norway and Germany are also officially on the starting tapes of the 2020/21 season. With numbers clearly reduced to some powers of the movement, but we know how much the "Attacking Vikings" in particular are able to gather with fewer athletes and a revised budget, as they admitted to the top of the Norwegian Federsci once announced the staff for the next vintage. "We will have five fewer athletes in the national teams and, given the situation created with the Coronavirus, we will opt for retreats on the snow at home," said sports director Claus Johan Ryste, who will be dealing with a team led by the duo capable of bring three world cups in the past season, namely Aleksander Aamodt Kilde and Henrik Kristoffersen. With them in team A, of course, the one who now represents the team captain, Kjetil Jansrud, and five other top-level elements, coordinated by the responsible coach Steve Skavik, or the very young Lucas Braathen, Leif Kristian Nestvold-Haugen, Sebastian Foss-Solevaag, Rasmus Windingstad (first CdM victory last year in parallel in Alta Badia) and Adrian Smiseth Sejersted. In team B, however, here are Timon Haugan, Fabian Wilkens Solheim, Atle Lie McGrath (winner of the last European Cup) and slalomist Jonathan Nordbotten. Only three girls in team A for the women's sector: highly anticipated Ragnhild Mowinckel on the return after the double knee injury, with the Olympic medal we will find Kristian Lysdahl and Mina Fuerst Holtmann, which exploded in last season in giant. Team B with the sprinter Lie, then Stjernesund, Tviberg, Riis-Johannessen and Kaja Norbye; in C Tuva Norbye, Marstoel and Monsen. Casa Germania instead has to deal with the many retreats announced in the spring, from Christina Ackermann to Fritz Dopfer, up to Stehle and Hronek. The men's 1A team will count above all on the speed team made up of Thomas Dressen, three re-entry victories in 2019/2020, Josef Ferstl, Romed Baumann and Andreas Sander, while Stefan Luitz, as well as Strasser, Holzmann and Tremmel in slalom, but also Alexander and Manuel Schmid, Rauchfuss, Schwaiger, Christof Brandner, Bastian Meisen, Jocher and Ketterer. Team 1A women instead with Viktoria Rebensburg undisputed captain, flanked by the returning Marlene Schmotz, by a sprinter like Kira Weidle and by Wallner, Wenig, Willibald, Pfister, Ostler, Duerr, Dorsch, Filser, Hilzinger and Hirtl-Stanggassinger.
