Saturday, October 27, 2007 - In 2006, no competes in S & ouml; Sölden because of rain and heat, so you go back on the Rettenbach to two years away from & rsquo; last time. And & egrave; a sweet return to the & rsquo; & eacute because Italy; winning & egrave; Denise Karbon, 27 year-old South Tyrol Castelrotto that captures his second victory in the World Cup almost four years after the one in Alta Badia on 13 December 2003. On that magical season 2007-2008 Denise & conquer agrave; four other giants taking home the cup of specialty & agrave ;. For the & rsquo; & egrave Italy; to everybody & rsquo; today the first and only victory on the Rettenbach. Denise & egrave; second after the first run to 17 cents from Finnish Tanja Poutiainen but the finish & egrave; she triumphed with 33 hundredths ahead of American Julia Mancuso, that recovery from twelfth place, and on 52 & rsquo; Austrian Kathrin Zettel, which recovers even the twenty-fourth position. Poutiainen instead ended fourth. Other blue finishers: Manuela Moelgg ninth, fourteenth Nicole Gius.

Sunday, October 28, 2007 - The first three starting in the first heat of the men's giant, Kalle Palander, Ted Ligety and Benjamin Raich, they score the second, the first and the third time, then falls visibility & agrave; and this will remain & agrave; for the rest of the race. Playing field in the second race and Aksel Lund Svindal took the opportunity to replace the second and 17 who had Ligety and triumph with 32 cents on the US, third & egrave; Palander 39, Raich fourth in 66. Saturday, October 25, 2008 - Again & egrave; Tanja Poutiainen in command after the first run but again the Finnish champion failed to win on the Rettenbach. Halfway & agrave; race ahead of the 15 cents & rsquo; Austrian Kathrin Zettel that & ograve; in the second part of the race he puts the turbo and triumphs even with 98 cents on Poutiainen, second and at least this time on the podium. Three successes in Cup for Kathrin, all in giant slalom. Third l & rsquo; other Austrian Andrea Fischbacher that comeback from the fifth position and takes the & rsquo; only podium finish of his career in giant, relegated instead a tense Denise Karbon, third after the first run and fourth in the end only 3 cents from the podium. Two other blue complete the race: Camilla Alfieri & egrave; fifteenth, twenty-second Nicole Gius.

Sunday, 26 October 2008 - One-two Swiss S & ouml; Sölden with Daniel Albrecht triumphing for only 14 cents on the veteran rossocrociati, Didier Cuche. For Danlel, gi & agrave; in the lead after the first run, & egrave; the third victory in the World Cup, the second in giant conquer & agrave; even two months after the Gran Risa in Alta Badia, but in January rischier & agrave; life falling on & rsquo; last jump of the Streif Kitzb & uuml; hel and will fail & agrave; pi & ugrave; to go to great levels. Third place & egrave; the American Ted Ligety, the defending trophy specialty & agrave ;, & off for ograve; 1 & rdquo; 25, while Raich & egrave; fourth as a year earlier, to 5 cents from the podium. Far from the first positions blues, they arrive at the finish line: fourteenth Alberto Schieppati, Manfred Moelgg seventeenth, eighteenth Davide Simoncelli, twenty Massimiliano Blardone.
