Tomorrow (11.30 am scheduled start) the first seasonal appointment with speed is at risk, given that in the Engadine it continues to snow and today the wind at high altitude has arrived (certainly not a novelty in these parts) to prevent the girls from making the traditional skiing on the slopes. In Sankt Moritz last year I missed the victory for a single cent, this year I still want to be there to fight for the victory ”. Sofia Goggia analyzes: “I think I worked well in Cervinia, the sensations are good, we try to confirm them also in the race. We have tested many set ups, they are at a good point, even if the work is always in progress and never ends. We are going through a difficult period, each season has its own story. In Sankt Moritz last year I got my last win, then a lot of things happened on and off the slopes. I think I will arrive at the gate different as a woman and as a skier, improved in many aspects ". Marta Bassino, on the podium in super-g at Bansko, now seems ready to fight constantly at the top in this discipline too, especially on such a technical track: "I have improved a lot in speed, I feel safer and more complete - the words of Cuneo - This track is always exposed to the wind and the visibility is often not the best, but the conditions will be the same for everyone, so we have to focus exclusively on our qualities. I have a lot of motivation, here in the last two years I entered the twenty in supergiant, this time I will try to climb some other position ”.
