Everyone on the Rettenbach for two days of "tasting": blues satisfied, while slalomists and downhill skiers are getting ready i

Between yesterday and today, practically all the protagonists of the opening of 23-24 October arrived in Soelden, with training continuing on the ice box. Top conditions also in Val Senales where a triple blue rally ends in these hours. And in the meantime, the "Cashier problem" is being solved.

A Rettenbach literally taken by assault, finally having the opportunity, in a decidedly favorable autumn in terms of weather and snow coverage of the slope that will host the grand opening of the 2021/22 World Cup, to ski in "racing" conditions just over a week from the two giants of 23-24 October. Soelden has seen all the national teams coming to battle in the opening of the top circuit since the beginning of the week, but in particular between Thursday and Friday (today). From Shiffrin to Vlhova, from Pinturault to Kilde up to Odermatt and Kristoffersen, with all the blues obviously on the track starting from Bassino, Brignone and Goggia; one week after the start, tomorrow the track will be "handed over" to the FIS, while the same ice box (the slope that descends alongside the race track) is hosting dozens and dozens of athletes for training, including those who are playing a bib for the opening giant, like the boys from Austria called today to an internal qualification. In the meantime, the meeting of three World Cup teams will end by tomorrow in Val Senales which, in reality, will have their commitments later in the calendar: exceptional conditions are those found by Paris, Innerhofer, Casse, Buzzi, Bosca, Molteni and Zazzi , as regards the seven sprinters on the track on the Leo Gurschler, which at the beginning of next week will then host the gigantists in the pre-Soelden finishing, but also for the slalomists of both the male and female groups. In Italy another good news, after the FISI had moved with an emergency meeting last Tuesday: Mattia Casse has "found" his points in the WCSL, where he sails in 12th position in his discipline, the super -g, and in 40th in the drop-down lists. As the federal president Flavio Roda himself explained to the FISI Opening, the Piedmontese had lost his scores due to a forgetfulness in the communication of the injured status that should have "protected" him also for the 2021/22 season. Fortunately, this will be the case after the FIS has accepted the request received from via Piranesi.
