The consecration of Akito Watabe arrives at Schonach

Along the 15 km the couple in command has always traveled paired, chased by Fabian Riessle, who has progressively approached, but never enter the battle for victory. Once he reached the tread, Watabe took charge of making the rhythm, which he prefers, and the situation has remained crystallized until the final straight. Here the Japanese had a better sprint and left the Norwegian on the spot, which had to be satisfied, as happened yesterday, the place of honor. The podium was completed by Riessle, while Graabak has regulated the pursuer group, finishing in 4th place and preceding Greiderer 5th. Jan Schmid, sixth on the finish line, has retained the second place in the general classification. The Norwegian, running for the crystal ball until the beginning of March, paid 362 points from Watabe and put behind Riessle 3rd, Rydzek 4th, Graabak 5th, Hirvonen 6th and Riiber 7th. Watabe has also prevailed in the special ranking that has rewarded the best jumper, Pittin instead was the most competitive on skis.
