The latest round has had a single protagonist, Watabe: author of an overbearing action has gradually widened the lead group, staying face to face with Frenzel to play for the ultimate success. The management of the Japanese leader of the movement competition helped by Frenzel side, but on the other Rydzek: in fact its last session made to the whole did not allow the Bavarian to catch his breath and then to tell her to success, but l ' extemporaneous winning lead has removed the Saxon 20 precious points in the overall standings.
Another man decisive in the fight for the crystal ball was Kircheisen: last lap he managed to limit the damage from Watabe and in the last 100 meters he beat at the photo finish as quoted Rydzek. For the German veteran was the fourth podium in first-level races in the season, this did not occur vintage 2011-12.
The yellow bib has had to settle for fourth place and we have seen stop the podium streak in top-level competitions to 15. Rydzek remains leader of the general, but Frenzel has reduced the gap to only 6 points.
Fifth place for Francois Braud, exploiting the positive wave brought by the championship results, obtained the best result in the World Cup. Then we find an alternation of athletes belonging to different octets half: sixth place for Fabian Riessle, followed by Eero Hirvonen (7th), Magnus Moan (8th), Manuel Faisst (9th) and Mario Seidl (10 ° ).

The other Italian in the race, that Samuel Costa, was the author of a very positive performance, crowned by the 20 th place finish, and has even recovered a few positions to the start.
In summary, the general classification of the World Cup to see Rydzek summit with 1440 points, followed a short distance from Frenzel (1436). Behind the two phenomena Watabe (926) has recovered many points Riessle (989) in optical third place.
The next round of the Nordic combined is set at Tuesday, March 14, when he competed in the provisional competition round in the race the next day in Trondheim.
