Italian Cup of roller skis: Emanuele Becchis and Lisa Bolzan, again in the Sprint of Bobbio

The spectacle of the sprint races opened the third stage of the Cascina Bianca Italian Cup of roller skis, valid for the 13th Valla & Ridella Assicurazioni Trophy. The vice president of CONI, the former skier Claudia Giordani, Giorgia Ragaglia, Councilor for sport of the Municipality of Bobbio, and Gianbattista Castelli, Councilor for Urban Planning of the Municipality of Bobbio. As already happened in the sprint of Santa Croce, to win were Emanuele Becchis and Lisa Bolzan. The Cuneo-based of the Entracque Alpi Marittime Ski Club, splendid third last weekend in the World Cup, but in a long sprint, managed to impose himself in the final four, thus also taking the leader's bib of the Italian Cup. Behind him an excellent Michele Valerio, the best in qualifying. Third place for Riccardo Lorenzo Masiero, while fourth concluded Gianmarco Gatti. Among women Lisa Bolzan (Orsago) obtained her third victory of the season, confirming herself as leader of the national circuit. A success for her after a nice duel with Sabrina Borettaz, the best in qualifying, forced to settle for second place in the final four. Third position for a good Anna Maria Ghiddi, while Sara Tenze concluded at the foot of the podium. Borettaz (Amis de Verrayes) obviously imposed itself in the Youth classification, which among the males awarded Giovanni Lorenzetti (US Carisolo), fifth overall. The other categories also took to the track in Piazza XXV Aprile. In Children, double for Nordik Ski Valsassina with Maria Invernizzi and Aurora Invernizzi, while third came Erica Bolzan (Orsago). The men's race went to Davide Piccinini (Levico) in front of Alessandro Tazzioli (Olimpic Lama) and Luca Di Gregorio (SC Comunità Montana). The Giovanissimi category saw the female success of Maddalena Pavan (Montebelluna), ahead of Ester Facchetti (Orsago) and Claudia Bongiorni (Bobbio). Among the males victory of Marco Combi (Primaluna) over Alessandro Rossi (Montebelluna) and Filippo Armellin (Orsago). Also competing are the MBM-MCM Masters. Success for Paolo Munari (Valdobbiadene) in front of Christian Venturelli (Cross Country Skiing Pavullese) and Roberto Capanni (Nordic Skiing Bismantova). Today the conclusion with the individual uphill classic technique for the Youth / Senior and Master categories, over a distance of 9 km for men and 6 km for women.
