Nineteen blues summoned to Lillehammer for the second stage of CdM between cross country and Nordic combined

The choices of Italy for the long Norwegian weekend: the fund tries to restart with a much richer contingent than Ruka, the season of the women's Nordic combined begins.

Twelve have been called up by the technical director of blue cross-country skiing, Alfred Stauder, for the second stage of the World Cup scheduled in Lillehammer, from 3 to 5 December. In the free technique sprint on Friday, Federico Pellegrino will compete (here winner in 2018 and out in the quarterfinals in Ruka's classic opening), Michael Hellweger, Davide Graz, Simone Mocellini and Francesco De Fabiani among men, with Lucia Scardoni, Greta Laurent, Martina Di Centa, Caterina Ganz and Elisa Brocard among women. Saturday 4th will be the turn of the skiathlon competitions, for which Federico Pellegrino, Paolo Ventura, Stefano Gardener and Francesco De Fabiani will be entered among the men and Martina Di Centa, Caterina Ganz and Elisa Brocard for the women's test. Closing on Sunday 5th December with the relays, which will be decided by the technical staff after the individual races. In Goms, Switzerland, instead, the Alpen Cup starts with three races, again from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 December, in which Martin Coradazzi, Mattia Armellini, Giovanni Ticcò, Alessandro Chiocchetti, Giacomo Gabrielli, Francesco Manzoni, Lorenzo Romano will take part in the male field, and the female group composed of Nicole Monsorno, Francesca Franchi, Anna Comarella, Cristina Pittin and Martina Bellini. COMBINED NORDIC Even the Nordic Combined World Cup, after the opening in Ruka, moves to Lillehammer where the second stage of the circuit will take place next weekend with the start of the women's season, given that on Friday they will compete for the first time in the '' vintage 2021/22 the girls with a 5 km Gundersen, with the men's team trial scheduled for Saturday and finally on Sunday the closing with the men's individual race. Seven blues called up by coordinator Sandro Sambugaro: Alessandro Pittin, on his debut in the World Cup after having skipped the Finnish stage, will join Samuel Costa, Raffaele Buzzi and Iacopo Bortolas, while Veronica Gianmoena, Daniela Dejori and Annika will be present in the women's field Sieff, the three strikers of a group that aims to do very well this season too.
