The Tour de Ski stops in Oberstdorf: Italy ready to dream with ''Chicco'' Pellegrino

Tomorrow, Tuesday 3 January, the 10 km classic will be staged in the Bavarian town, valid for the prestigious event in the world of cross-country skiing. At 11.45 it's the men's turn, with Federico Pellegrino who will try to keep the podium in the general standings (where Klaebo will make the first significant advance on his opponents); the women's race, on the other hand, scheduled for 2.45 pm.

After the races in Val Mustair, excellent for the blue colors thanks to Federico Pellegrino's fantastic double podium, the Tour de Ski moves from Switzerland to Germany, for the two tests that will take place between Tuesday 3 January (tomorrow) and Wednesday 4 January on the snow of Oberstdorf. The day will open with the men's event at 11.45. First to go will be Canadian Graham Ritchie; bib number 15 for the first blue in the race, Giandomenico Salvadori, number 20 Dietmar Noeckler, 35 for Francesco De Fabiani. Watch out for the Norwegian Emil Iversen with number 38, as well as the British Andrew Musgrave with number 40; bib number 41 for Davide Graz, who will precede a lot of scary athletes: Paal Golberg with number 42, Johannes Klaebo with number 44 (leader of the competition classification) and the blue Federico Pellegrino with number 46, ready to surprise again after the ''exciting podium in the pursuit of January 1st. Giovanni Ticco will start with number 43, in the middle of the first three in the general classification; with 48 Simen Krueger will start, 52 Martin Nyenget, 54 for the Swede William Poromaa. The other blues in the race: Paolo Ventura with size 51, Elia Barp will wear size 53, Mikael Abram with size 55 and Simone Mocellini with size 79, the last starter among the men. Here the complete male startlist! The women's race will start at 14.45, with the French Melissa Gal first. The first blue in the race will be Anna Comarella with number 5, bib 13 for Caterina Ganz, looking for a result among the top twenty; number 29 for one of the main special observers, the Finnish Krista Parmakoski, as well as her compatriot Kerttu Niskanen with 34, without forgetting the German Katharina Hennig with 32, pushed by the home crowd. Number 36 for the yellow bib and temporary leader of the Tour de Ski, Tiril Weng, followed by the blue Martina Di Centa (37) and the Swedish Frida Karlsson (38); bibs 40 and 42 for the Norwegians Lotta Weng and Anne Kalvaa.
