Lillehammer stage postponed for cross country, jump and Nordic combined. Green light for Ruka

The uncertainties related to the Covid emergency have convinced the Norwegian Federation and FIS to move forward (but the date is yet to be defined) the race weekend scheduled from 3 to 6 December. And we must wait for the historic debut of the women's Nordic combined.

One of the cradles of Nordic skiing raises the white flag, at least for now. The Covid situation has already upset several calendars of winter disciplines for this 2020/21 season and cross-country, jump and Nordic combined are no exception. If the inaugural weekend (except for the jump, which will start on 21-22 November in Wisla) with Ruka Nordic, from 26 to 29 November, received the OK from the FIS in terms of snow control and in Finland not there are doubts about the regular running of the races despite the epidemiological emergency, instead seven days later they will not compete in Lillehammer. The Norwegian federsci, in concert with the FIS, communicated the postponement (but there is enormous uncertainty regarding possible new dates) of the great appointment scheduled from 3 to 6 December: no cross country, jump (with the women's circuit that risks starting in January) and Nordic combined, with the girls' historic debut postponed. And the black clouds over the whole season that thicken more and more.
