A second one-two Japanese Lillehammer, again Sara Takanashi victory

In today's afternoon it was held the second women's ski jumping competition in Lillehammer. As yesterday, the victory went to Sara Takanashi, ahead of compatriot Yuki Ito. The competition, however, took place in a different way, some athletes have been able to use at times the head wind.

For the holder of the crystal ball is the 46th victory in the World Cup, to which must be added the many successes of plastic, namely 16. Jacqueline Seifriedsberger reached his first podium of the new season, replacing the veteran Daniela Iraschko-Stolz and imposing of just 4/10 of a point. These are only two athletes that give the impression of having the ranks the ability to stop the Japanese rule. In fact, the rest of the competition has finished the competition very far, in terms of points, from the top 3. Maja Vtic took second 5th row, once again proving the best of Slovenian, while Maren Lundby has only partly redeemed the disappointment of competition than 24 hours ago, posting the sixth final score, with good recovery from 12th place at the end of the first segment of the race. More tarnished appeared German: Anna Rupprecht was again the best, finishing in ninth place, only in the top 10; just outside this was confirmed Katharina Althaus 11th just ahead of Olympic and World Champion in office Carina Vogt; the other three athletes present were concluded in the top 20, with signs of growth by Juliane Seyfarth (18 ^) though it is still the worst of the Teutonic square. The headwind helped Sarah Hendrickson to obtain good performance in the first heat, followed by a more difficult jump at the decisive moment. However there have been a final eighth place that bodes well for the rest of the year. Austria has concluded the weekend with good news: Chiara Hoelzl is back in the points, coming in at 17th place. They remain in trouble all the other, unable to get into the points. Discrete confirmations by French jumpers, again in 4 points and captained the best from fifteen Lucile Morat (15 ^). Troubled the North American movements, with the spearheads unable to get into the points, obviously except the champion Hendrickson. For the color blue was a more difficult race than yesterday: Elena Runggaldier was confirmed as the best team closing 23 ^; in turn Evelyn Insam took home points with a 28th place; Malsiner the sisters had exceeded the barrier of qualification, but did not go beyond the 37th and 40th place, respectively, with Manuela better than Lara. Roberta D'Agostina ended the weekend in chiaroscuro, never able to overcome the qualification. The overall ranking is clearly in red and white colors with Sara Takanashi the lead with 200 points, followed by Yuki Ito (160) and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (110). A color change is carried by Maja Vtic (90) tied with Daniela Iraschko-Stolz. The next event is scheduled for next weekend, when happening two competitions on the normal hill in Nizhny Tagil.
