The Norwegian with an excellent second jump repeated the success of Wisla, preceding, after several twists, Aschenwald and Lanisek.

The men's jumping World Cup is in its infancy and the values on the pitch are still indecipherable. At the moment no jumper has the technical stability to establish himself as a ruler and to make the difference so far have been dry jumps, able to shift the balance.
Just as happened last week in Wisla to Daniel Andre Tande it was enough a "five-star" jump to win the victory, the seventh in his career at the World Cup. Seventh in the middle of the race, in the final act the Norwegian made a jump to the limits of perfection, landing at 142 m, with which he managed to climb over one after the other, all the opponents that preceded him.
So Tande had the young compatriot Marius Lindvik behind him and a revived Peter Prevc, third and second respectively at the end of the first series. At the end of the race, however, came the sensational disqualification of both, due to an irregular suit. The Austrian Philipp Aschenwald, who preceded Slovene Anze Lanisek, second to Wisla seven days ago, then went on the podium for the first time in his career.
However, those of Lindvik and Prevc were not the only suspensions of the day. Together with them at the end of the race the Slovenian Semenic was also disqualified, while in the first series the sensational ones of the Norwegians Johansson and Forfang had arrived, when the two were respectively in the first and third partial place.
All the disappointed in Race 1 could not then refer to Race 2, scheduled for Sunday afternoon but canceled due to the strong wind that made the trampoline impractical.
After two individual races, the World Cup ranking sees Tande at the top with 200 points, 60 more than Lanisek and 107 compared to Aschenwald. Kobayashi and Stoch, respectively 6th and 16th in the Ruka race, occupy the 4th and 5th place instead, separated by over 110 lengths from the Norwegian.
Next weekend the World Cup will stop in Russia, in Nizhny Tagil, where last year Forfang and Kobayashi Ryoyu imposed themselves. The qualification will be held on Friday, two individual races on Saturday and Sunday.
