The first series, thanks to the strong headwind, was highly spectacular, five athletes have gone beyond the HS point, set at 140 m, and in two have improved the record of the trampoline. The first to establish the new record, previously held by Hayböck and Kasai (143 m), was Robert Johansson, who arrived at an incredible 145.5 m, and was able to support an excellent telemark. Even better, however, Kamil Stoch, who has been shorter than the others, pushed to 146 m, beating the Norwegian by 3.4 points.
Stefan Kraft (141.5 m) scored the third score, 6.5 meters away from the second place, which preceded a little more than a Stjernen point (142.5 m) and 2.5 Forfang points (140.5 m).
They did not have access to the second series, among others, Tilen Bartol 33 °, Anders Fannemel 36 °, Alex Insam 43 ° and Noriaki Kasai 46 °.
In the second act Stoch was unreachable and with a jump of 141.5 m, achieved once again starting from a lower pole than the opponents, has achieved success. Instead, the fight for the second place was very balanced, which at the end rewarded Stefan Kraft, landed at 138 m, a measure that allowed him to overtake Robert Johansson (136 m) by just 4 tenths. The Polish and the Scandinavian are respectively first and second in the rankings of Raw Air, separated by 87 points.
Andreas Stjernen got the best measure of the second series, but had to settle for 4th place, finishing the race with 4.4 points from the podium. The Norwegian preceded by almost ten lengths the German Freitag 5th, second in general classification with 245 points behind Stoch. Forfang 6th, Geiger 7th, Prevc 8th, Kubacki 9th and Eisenbichler 10th entered the top ten. He closed the third of the general, Daniel Andre Tande, who was disappointing in the first series and as usual in a comeback in the second part of the race, which finished in 15th place. In the back, also Andreas Wellinger 22nd.
