The qualification for the Sunday ski race opened the last and decisive stage of Raw Air.

Today's trial has been very tormented by the wind, which has died mostly behind the athletes, forcing the race direction to gradually raise the starting pole. The lower pectorals jumped from bar 11, while in the final it was up to 16, the only solution to allow the jumpers to face over a meter of negative wind.
Despite the adversities, the technical values ​​did not change and the best was Kamil Stoch who scored the best measure (242 m), winning the qualification with 1.5 points ahead of Raw Air's rival, Robert Johansson, who is now 89 lengths. The Norwegian arrived at 232.5, but with much worse wind than the Polish and preceded by 2.4 points the compatriot Stjernen, author of the second best measure (236 m). Markus Eisenbichler 4th (225.5 m) and Stefan Kraft 5th (218.5 m) finished more than 15 points from the podium.
The only blue able to enter among the best 40 who had access to the race on Sunday was Alex Insam 30th (194 m), but Colloredo, Dellasega and Bresadola were eliminated.
Tomorrow at 16:15 will start the first series of the Team Event, the individual race is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
