For the first time in history, Norway has won the Olympic team jumping test, in the past the best result was the bronze medal, obtained on three occasions, at Calgary 1988, at Turin 2006 and at Vancouver 2010.

Norway started off on the right foot, winning the first two rotations thanks to two excellent leaps of Tande and especially Stjernen, who scored a much better score than the direct rivals, the German Leyhe and the Polish Hula.
