Ryoyu Kobayashi makes an encore in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

The young Japanese has also conquered the second stage of the 67th edition of the Vierschanzentournee.

In the first series Ryoyu Kobayashi and Markus Eisenbichler clearly made the difference compared to the competition. The German got the best measure landing at 138 m, but despite this he paid two tenths of gap from the rival, arrived at 136.5 m with more unfavorable wind. Yesterday's qualifying winner Dawid Kubacki was the only one able to limit the damage, closing 3rd to 6.8 lengths from the Japanese. All the others have instead been delayed by over 10 points, starting with Junshiro Kobayashi 4th, who preceded an excellent Roman Koudelka 5th and Timi Zajc 6th. During the first act the wind was particularly insidious and made several excellent victims, over all Stefan Kraft 48th. Andreas Wellinger, Noriaki Kasai, Daniel Andre Tande, Anti Aalto and Alex Insam were also eliminated. The blue has made a great jump (123.5 m), however losing the head to head with Yukiya Sato. Also in the second act there was a lot of balance between the first two. Once again the longest jump was that of Eisenbichler (135 m), which however had to bow again to the Japanese. Kobayashi in fact found himself jumping with the wind behind him, but despite this he pushed up to 133 m, winning the 6th win of the season with 1.9 points ahead of the German. In the Tournée standings the two are instead separated by 2.3 lengths and everything will be decided in the two Austrian stages. Third of the day and in the general classification is Dawid Kubacki, who in the second series defended himself from the comeback of Roman Koudelka 4th. The Czech preceded Junshiro Kobayashi 5th and Kamil Stoch, 16th in the middle of the race and 6th at the end. On the other hand, the Norwegian Andreas Stjernen finished 10th at over 20 points from the winner, who remains 4th in the Tournée standings.
