Jump: Stefan Kraft triumphs in Lillehammer. Johansson remains the leader of Raw Air.

After the Oslo opening, Raw Air moved to Lillehammer, where the fifth round of the 2018/19 World Cup took place this afternoon.

Today the victory was never in question and the race had an undisputed protagonist: Stefan Kraft. The Salzburg driver took the lead from the first series, in which he landed at 139 m (best size), trimming 5 lead lengths to the first of the trackers. In the second act he then pushed two meters further (141 m), going beyond the HS point. This measure allowed him to delve further into his opponents and get the fourth win of the season, the 16th in the World Cup. Behind Kraft was Robert Johansson, who after having closed the first series on the square of honor, in the second part of the race had no problems keeping Ryoyu Kobayashi 3rd and Kamil Stoch 4th, respectively, in comeback from the 6th and 8th position. Thanks to today's result the Norwegian maintains the leadership in the Raw Air classification, where he now has 950 points, 13 more than Stefan Kraft. The second series was characterized by several comebacks. In addition to Kobayashi and Stoch, Johann Andre Forfang, 5th at the end of the race, has also recovered several positions. The twenty-three of Tromsø preceded Junshiro Kobayashi 6th, Slovenian Domen Prevc 7th and Dawid Kubacki, 3rd in mid-race but then unable to keep up with the best. Also the Austrian Philipp Aschenwald 9th and the Swiss Killian Peier 10th entered the top 10. Without even a day off, tomorrow Raw Air will move to Trondheim, where Thursday's qualifying will be staged.
