The ideal weather conditions have allowed us to witness a great show on the Large Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the second leg of the 62 ^ Vierschanzentournee. Without the whims of the wind to reshuffle the cards, the victory went to Thomas Diethart as predicted, pre-race favorite.

As regards the general classification of the Tour, the situation evolves as follows:

So at the halfway point of the event Diethart took the lead, and with some margin. The big question about him concerns the mental strength as it is an athlete who early in the season was not even in the top 8 of the Austrian team, and instead now suddenly finds himself at the center of global attention''.
Morgenstern and Ammann, navigated and vice versa jumpers used to the spotlight, are detached but still fully in the running for the ultimate success. Less than sensational upsets seem to evaporate the ambitions of Bardal, Prevc, Schlierenzauer and Stoch.
The absolute ranking of the World Cup has riaccorciata again. Stoch has defended the yellow bib with 466 points. However Schlierenzauer has riguardagnato second place with 413, while Bardal was third with 411. Ammann, fourth, has led to 62 lengths behind the leader with a share of fifth Morgenstern -120.
Tomorrow does not jump, but we moved to Innsbruck. Jump Qualifying January 3, while the race will take place on the 4th. Both competitions are scheduled at 14.00.
