The Norwegian consecrates himself to Bischofshofen and after the 2020/21 World Cup he also conquers the Four Hills Tournament, bringing the golden eagle back to Norway after sixteen years. The Azzurri defend themselves but close out of the points zone.

The Norwegian's was an authentic domination, which began with the German double, obtained by winning four series out of four between Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and continued with second place in Innsbruck, in the wake of number one rival: Dawid Kubacki.
Halvor Egner Granerud succeeds Ryoyu Kobayashi, winner in 2021/22, and Kamil Stoch, first in 2020/21, in the roll of honor, and brings the golden eagle back to Norway sixteen years after the last success, the one obtained in the 2006/07 edition by Anders Jacobsen. This is Norway's 11th success in the history of the Four Hills Tournament.
