Prediction respected in the Bischofshofen team test where the Austrian team masters won their second win of the season after that of Wisla at the beginning of December. Place of honor for Japan of Kobayashi, who mocked Norway by two tenths, third at the end ahead of Slovenia.

They were the favorites and did not betray expectations. In light of the results of the individual races, Jan Hoerl, Manuel Fettner, Philipp Aschenwald and Daniel Huber started ahead of everyone in the second team event of the season, with Lindvik and Granerud's Norway ready to overturn the prediction in case of missteps. However, the Austrians did not make any mistakes and were very solid in all eight rotations.
At the end of the first series, the advantage was 10 dry points against Norway, which however paid duty in the second series due to two jumps not at the height of Tande and Forfang. With a superlative Fettner, capable of reaching 137 m, Austria took off. In the last two rotations Aschenwald and Huber have administered the advantage and Austria have thus replicated the victory obtained in Wisla at the beginning of the season. A historic success, as reported by Eurosport commentator Francesco Paone, as it is the first in history obtained at home.
