One hundredth of a second: so much has separated Stina Nilsson and Maiken Caspersen Falla in the final of the freestyle sprints Gong. The photo finish awarded the Swedish, Norwegian inflicting to their second defeat in a row of narrow extent, after the one suffered in Dobbiaco for Natalia Matveeva hand.

The final act recalled closely that of the Italian race already in the cloth, which saw Falla impose a sostenutissimo pace right from the opening bars. The consolation for Falla, after another nuanced victory by a whisker, are once again the specialty rankings, which sees in the lead with 432 points. Nilsson is now second with 270, ahead of Matveeva (226) and Falk (216), both eliminated in the semifinals.
