Second career victory at the World Cup level to Natalia Matveeva, almost ten years after the first. The Russian has mocked at the photo finish the favorite Maiken Caspersen Falla, for just 8 hundredths of a second.

Matveeva, whose first and so far only victory in the maximum circuit dating back to October 2007 (Düsseldorf), had closed in fourth place qualification, and found itself coupled with Falla in all rounds. In the quarter and semi-finals, to win the battery and to arouse the best impression was the Norwegian, it presented itself as the final act as the woman to beat.
On the occasion, Falla has opted for a policy of very aggressive race, the race of launching immediately a fast pace and trying to resolve the dispute before the finish straight.
