This morning the Sprint in free technique opened the Falun race triptych, final act of the 2017-18 World Cup.

The Swedish has won the fourth career success in individual top-level competitions, the second of the current season. After winning the qualification with a reasonable margin on Jessica Diggins, he passed both elimination rounds in fluency, reaching the decisive act with the degrees of main favorite.

Maiken Caspersen Falla, now eliminated in the semi-finals, has won the third consecutive specialty cup with 78 points ahead of Stina Nilsson, absent in Falun for an illness.
Elisa Brocard, the only Italian to have passed the qualification, finished 29th, in the morning were eliminated instead Gaia Vuerich 31st and Greta Laurent 51st.
