Il campione olimpico Nikita Kriukov vince la sprint di Asiago

Nikita Kriukov, Olympic champion and world champion, won the sprint classic technique of Asiago ahead Gialuca Cologna and Alexey Poltoranin

It seems incredible, but for Kriukov this is the first victory in the World Cup. The Russian had in fact so far won an Olympic gold, a world gold and three stages of multistage events, always in classic technique sprint races. The Russian has now got the better of Alexey Poltoranin, who fought to the end but had to give up on the goal. Third step of the podium for Gianluca Cologna, brother of Darius, the best result obtained on the day on which the most famous brother puts his skis after an ankle injury. Fourth place for Eldar Rønning, while Emil Jönsson Alexander Panzinskiy fifth and sixth have not actually had their say due to a contact and consequent fall immediately at the beginning of the end. The three Italian qualifiers, Federico Pellegrino and Dietmar Loris Frasnelli Noeckler, have failed to overcome the batteries. SPRINT TC MALE ASIAGO - FINAL STANDINGS 1. KRIUKOV Nikita [RUS] 2.
