Canada won the team sprint Dobbiaco, Nckler and Pellegrino third

Canadian success in the team sprint skating in Dobbiaco, which saw Italy on the podium only grazed twenty-four hours ago. Dietmar Nöckler and Federico Pellegrino have in fact finished in third place, behind the winners Len Valjas and Alex Harvey and the Swedish duo of Karl-Johan Westberg and Oskar Svensson.

The blue duo saw complicate the race on the fourth lap, when Pellegrino has slipped to the ground, leaving seconds and positions. The Aosta Valley has, however, responded quickly, managing to regain already by the end of the round the tails of the leading group, still strong of thirteen of the fifteen teams at the start. Nöckler maintained without any problems contact with the favorites in his last lap. Pellegrino, just received the return, he removed any doubt about possible consequences of the fall, moving quickly in the top positions. The Sweden and Italy itself occupied the first two places to the entrance of the last tear, when it was Harvey to take the initiative firmly. The Canadian could not create a vacuum, but, helped by excellent materials, has been able to keep the lead in the final downhill, approaching the short straight before arrival. The first three positions have not changed: Harvey was superior to the competition, leaving half a second Svensson, while Pellegrino held nimbly away Pål Golberg. The most surprising of the day is precisely the failure to the podium of the two Norwegian groups, who could count on the first and third in the individual race yesterday - Bjørnestad Sindre Skar and Johannes Høsflot Klæbo - that formed Norway I, of an additional finalist (Håvard SOLAS Taugbøl, sixth) and the leader of the sprint cup specialties (Goldberg), components of Norway II. Couples who have stopped instead at fourth and fifth place. The second half of the top ten is open by the Americans Andrew Newell and Simeon Hamilton and Russians Gleb Retivykh and Nikolay Morilov while eighth came the listed France I, formed by Chanavat Lucas and Baptiste Gros. The ninth Switzerland, with Roman Furger and Jovian Hediger, ahead of Finland's (Ristomatti Hakola and Matias Strandvall). TEAM SPRINT TL DOBBIACO MEN - FINAL 1. Canada (Valjas, Harvey) 16: 11.2 2.
