The podium was monopolized by Russia. The winner is Vladislav Skobeliev that preceded Ermil Vokuev and Andrey Feller. Excellent fourth place for the blue Matt Pellegrin, only blue in the race.
Russia has dominated the cross country skiing in these Universiade, 12 total medals (5, 3, 4) in front of Ukraine and Kazakhstan, both at 4 medals (2, 1, 1). No podium for Italy.
