L & rsquo; Italy boasts two world medals in the women's 10 km. In Sapporo 2007 Arianna Follis & ograve conquered; bronze behind Neumannova and Savialova, while in Liberec 2009 Marianna Longa was to conquer the & rsquo; silver beaten only by Aino-Kaisa Saarinen. Follis won his medal in skating, while in alternating Longa. At the level of nations, the 10 Km female & egrave; & Ndash; and sar & agrave; still for several editions although there is no more & ugrave; & Ndash; fief of & rsquo; Soviet Union, which has won 14 Ori, 8 Silver and 7 Bronze with 3 consecutive sweep (1960, 1962 and 1964). Better made Virginia De Martin Topranin in Val di Fiemme, but his 17 & deg; place & egrave; was obtained in a race in classic technique and with a mass start. Reduced to zero, therefore the possibilities & agrave; blue medal in this format, l & rsquo; objective sar & agrave; a dignified race. & Nbsp; 10 KM THE FIRST LEVEL FALUN There are 11 Km 10 of the first level that Falun hosted in its history, 2 valid for the World Cup and 9 World Cup. L & rsquo; only girl able to impose itself on 2 occasions & egrave; Julija Tchepalova, who won in 2000 and 2001, in both cases, free technique; 1 success instead for Lyubov Kozyreva, Galina Kulakova, KvÄ›ta JeriovÃ¡, Raissa Smetanina, Anette B & oslash ;, Manuela Di Centa, Nina Gavriljuk, Elena Vaelbe and Larissa Lazutina. In terms of controls Lazutina podiums at 5 (1 win, 1 second time, 3 times third) before Vaelbe and Tchepalova fermatesi 3.
