Second consecutive victory on the slopes of Oberstdorf and third in four stages of the Tour de Ski for Stina Nilsson. Sweden has emerged once again in the sprint, burning direct rivals in standings, Heidi Weng and ingvild flugstad østberg.

In the 10 km free technique pursuit that marked the halfway mark of the Tour, Nilsson started with 4 seconds ahead of Weng and 12 of Østberg, detachments canceled by the two Norwegians in the space of about one kilometer. The trio thus formed is no longer separate to the finish, despite the fast pace imposed at least since the second of four laps from Weng and Østberg and the forcing of the latter on the final climb.
Nilsson has resisted, and the descent to the stadium took advantage of extraordinary materials to pass momentum the enemy and stand in the lead on the final straight. The sprint was a demonstration of the Swedish force, while Weng has mocked by just one tenth compatriot in the challenge to the place of honor.
Only Krista Pärmäkoski, fourth at the start as the arrival, managed to contain the detachment. Game with 39 seconds to retrieve the leader, the Finnish took advantage of the first round of the first three studio to move to 24 '' from the top and remained virtually unchanged the gap up to three quarters of the race. Only in the final lap when in the lead came on the brawl, the gap began to rise significantly, until it settles at the finish line in 42.4 seconds.
Detachments heavy for all the others. Jessica Diggins, fifth, is taken with 51 seconds of delay to close with a minute and 47 ''. In sixth place salt Nicole Fessel, able to recover four positions and cross the finish line two minutes and 39 seconds after Nilsson. Together with the German finished the test Nathalie von Siebenthal, now rising from ninth to seventh place, and Yulia Tchekaleva, from twelfth to eighth.
It remains in the ten Kathrine Rolsted Harsem, although the latter has lost nearly two minutes, slipping from sixth to ninth place. Completing the top 10 Kikkan Randall, climbing nine positions. For the US it is the first placement in the 10 individual competitions of the World from March 2015 (third in a skating sprint in Lahti Cup), and even the first in distance testing by December 2013 (Kuusamo, in a similar format to that of today ). Instead it rushes from seventh to fourteenth place Anne Kyllönen.
Of note, in the house Italy, the good performance of Ilaria Debertolis, who redeemed one skiathlon subdued with the ninth time in pursuit, good to move up from 29th to 23rd place. A Virginia De Martin also points Topranin, 29th, and Elisa Brocard, 30th. 37th place for Giulia Stuerz, 47th for Lucia Scardoni.
As regards the best modern times, valid for the allocation of FIS points, the first was to Østberg, which beat Weng for 8.3 seconds and Nilsson to 10.6. So Pärmäkoski, Tchekaleva, Fessel, Elizabeth Stephen (26th arrival), von Siebenthal, Debertolis and Ragnhild Haga (now 16th in the standings).
The ranking of the Tour de Ski coincides naturally with the finishing order, except for the granting 15 bonus seconds to Nilsson, 10 to Weng and 5 to Østberg.
Weng continues to lead the overall World Cup with 832 points. Østberg moves away the other three lengths, stopping at an altitude of 766. Unchanged also the rest of the top 5, with Pärmäkoski (594) preceding Nilsson (531) and Falla (424).
