The last part of Federico Pellegrino and Francesco De Fabiani's long preparation for the Olympic season is about to be completed. Two weeks after the opening of the 2021/22 World Cup, scheduled in Ruka from 26 to 28 November with a sprint in classic technique and two distance races, the two Valle d'Aosta, once again together with the Russian team led by German technician Markus Cramer for two weeks of meeting in Muonio, will face three FIS races in the same Finnish location as the last competitive test.
There will be many protagonists of the next World Cup, from the Norwegians to the Germans in addition to the Russian team (with the absence of Bolshunov, at risk for the Ruka opening), for three days that follows the program that we will then see at the end of the month, with a sprint in classic on Friday 12 November to open.
