Five men and three women, as well as two young men who will be chosen after the Alpen Cup engagements scheduled tomorrow in St. Ulrich, Austria. Here are the choices of the Italfondo technical director, Marco Selle, for the World Cup races scheduled for the weekend in Planica.
Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 individual sprints and team sprints (always in free technique) on the Slovenian snows, with Federico Pellegrino immediately hunting for redemption after the disappointment of the elimination in the semifinals at Davos, for a first podium of the season that he will look for on a track friend, given that the Valle d'Aosta triumphed in Planica in 2016 both in the individual race and in the sprint team with Noeckler.
