For Peterson is the fourth career victory, the first multistage event that ends the season. The Swede manages to hold on long final straight of the return Jönsson, who seemed destined to win his first victory of the season, but that has to give the best split teammate. The Swedish triumph is completed by the third place of Calle Halfvarsson, for a sweep that was missing to Sweden in the World Cup Cross Country Skiing Men from exactly ten years. Fourth place went to Alex Harvey, in turn deprived of a position at the photo finish, the fifth best of the Russians Sergey Ustiugov and a sixth Eirik Brandsdal who has tried to end what would have been a dramatic turnaround in the ranking of specialties. For Ola Vigen Hattestad would have sufficed in fact a twentieth place to make sure the cup, but in its battery, dominated, is demoted for obstruction and therefore deleted. A Brandsdal served accordingly a first or second place to overtake his team-mate, in the middle of the Norwegian final test an attack, it gains a few yards but in the end is resumed, so that the straight final gets up conscious of not having , no ambition. To get Hattestad so the third sprint cup of his career, although with some heartache too much given the situation of the vigil, which is the pair with the gold medal won in Sochi.
