A great opportunity to put a serious mortgage on the specialty World Cup. In Ulricehamn everything is ready for the weekend dedicated to sprint races, with the individual skating test scheduled for Saturday (starting at 10.20 with the women's qualifications, then the men and finals from 12.50) which winks at Federico Pilgrim.
The cup leader is the main favorite of an event in which we will not see many Norwegian big names, starting with Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo winner again in Falun on the day of his return, and Alexander Bolshunov who also chose to prepare exclusively for the World Cup by Oberstdorf. The Swedish eve of the Aosta Valley champion, however, is a sign of prudence. “It is the first time that we run a sprint on this track, the question marks are many - Pellegrino's analysis - The track does not have great differences in height, with a first part that slowly climbs and a second part with several curves.
We will have to be careful to grasp the different situations that could be created in the finale. I really want to do a good skating race, the track doesn't suit my characteristics too much, but I'll sell my skin dearly ”.
