Skiathlon Pyeongchang: Russia-Norway challenge, wins Sedov

Second career win in the World Cup for Petr Sedov. The Russian was imposed in 15 + 15km of Pyeongchang, the second act of a stage pre-Olympic deserted, even among men, as all top athletes. With him on the podium Norwegians Daniel Stock and Mathias Rundgreen, both the first top three in the maximum circuit.

To solve the challenge for the lowest rung of the podium was needed photo finish, which boosted the comeback on the final straight of the Norwegian. Quinto has come Eriksson, in just under five seconds from third place. In the top ten they have closed, in order, also Yoshida, Utkin, Hoffman, American Scott Patterson, climbed in the hamlet in skating, and Nyenget, collapsed in the final stages. Naturally it remains intact, uptown, the general classification of the World Cup: Martin Johnsrud Sundby continues to operate firmly with 1348 points, compared to 1004 Sergey Ustiugov, Matti Heikkinen of the 792 and the 712 of Alex Harvey.
