It had to suffer perhaps more than expected, but the Norwegian Simen male quartet Hegstad Krüger, Martin Johnsrud Sundby, Anders Gløersen and Finn Haagen Krogh has emulated the female and has emerged in the relay 4 x 7.5 km Ulricehamn. The breakthrough came in the sprint, when Krogh bent for half a second Calle Halfvarsson of Sweden's and Canada's Len Väljas.

The race was marked by great tactics. At the end of the first half, were twelve formations along with the command, then which fell to nine in the second. A squad that would eventually frayed on several occasions, but always regroup and present joined in the final.
Mostly clear breakout came in the latter part of the third stage, under the impulse of two Swedish formations. At the beginning of the last fraction, however, none of the athletes head felt to take the initiative, by ensuring that the usual nine teams and then find again all together. Situation remained effectively unchanged until the final straight.
It was Sweden's get out of the last corner in the lead, however, already hounded by Krogh. The Norwegian missed Halfvarsson without difficulty, that only a few more centimeters averted overtaking Valjas. Quest''ultimo is back on the podium in the team event, after the success of Dobbiaco in the team sprint with Alex Harvey, now deployed as a second fractionist.
At the foot of the podium Switzerland, who chose to oppose Dario Cologna in Sundby and Harvey, just in front of a good Italian. Blue, veterans from the very negative performance yesterday, they found the ransom defending well not only in the most favorable fractions classical, with Dietmar Nöckler and Francesco De Fabiani, but also in those in skating, thanks to Salvadori and Sebastian Pellegrin.
Finland, Matti Heikkinen-free, finished sixth, ahead of a Russia crippled by the absence of Sergey Ustiugov. Towing of the best even Sweden and France II.
