A couple of hours after Marit Bjørgen showdown, able to win with gaps abysmal the 10km CT Otepää, Martin Johnsrud Sundby was not far behind. On the distance of 15 km, the leader of the World Cup has trimmed 37 seconds to Iivo Niskanen, the closest rival. 49 those paid by Hans Christer Holund third.

How Bjoergen, Sundby stood on his head from the first intermediate, although Niskanen remained close throughout the first lap, passing the 5 km with just half a second.
The difference is, however, grew gradually during the next round: 8.4 seconds to 7 km and a half, 12.8 to 8.8, 17.1 to 10. Trend therefore confirmed in the final round, where attention has focused on the challenge to the step less noble the podium, the only one still to be awarded.
In the middle phase of the race, it was Didrik Tønseth to stand in third place, earning about ten seconds against those pursuing. Sixth was Alexey Poltoranin, perhaps underdog from a very low starting number that deprived him of any reference. Just behind Alexander Bessmertnykh and Sjur Røthe while to complete the picture of the top ten, behind Tønseth, was Maurice Manificat.
Only two Italians in the race, Dietmar Nöckler and Maicol Rastelli. A points only the first, 26th, while the second has not gone beyond a 52nd place.
More and more closed the discussion of the general World Cup, where the success of Sundby and outbuildings 100 points lead to 384 (1448 against 1064) the gap between Norwegian and Sergey Ustiugov, which moreover seems to have given up the challenge. Heikkinen consolidates its third position, at an altitude of 837.
