After the Ruka hat-trick, the queen of cross-country skiing dictated the law even in front of the home crowd, competing separately from the rest of the world.

Therese Johaug, back from the three victories of Ruka and the finish line of 130 podiums in top-level races, did not prove satisfied and offered the usual Lillehammer audience, pushing everything from the first to the last meter. Shortly after the start, when the track started to climb, the Norwegian entered the fifth and greeted her opponents. At the change of skis and technique the first of the others has passed over half a minute, while at the finish the gap has been of 1''08 ".
A domain that brought Johaug to the 64th victory in first level races, the 7th in the format, in which it is bicampione world.
The duel for the second place, which saw Jessica Diggins and Heidi Weng as protagonists, was more closely fought. The US and Norwegian took advantage in the first part of the fraction in free technique and with regular changes they kept a perky Jacobsen at a distance. At 1.5 km from the finish line, Diggins launched the decisive attack, thus gaining the position of honor and preceding Weng.
