Two out of two for Sergey Ustiugov: after the inaugural sprint skating, the Russian was also imposed in the 10 km with mass start classic, always on the snows of Val Mustair. Beat the Norwegian trio consisting of Martin Johnsrud Sundby, Didrik Tønseth and Sjur Røthe.

Ustiugov has placed the decisive attack on the final ramp, the last of four rounds to 2km and a half in the program. The progression has allowed him to acquire a small margin but decided against Sundby, slightly increased in the next downhill, thanks to excellent materials.
The Russian has in fact not needed, on the final straight, to show off their skills sprinter, and was indeed Sundby to have to look at the return of teammates.
The duel that has characterized the last few hundred meters had lived a starter at the sprint for the bonus seconds, up for grabs after 3100 meters of the race, with Sundby able in that case to prevail. In light of the astonishing debacle Finn Haagen Krogh, who arrived in the 34th over 50 seconds behind the winner, and heavy detachments accumulated yesterday by the other pretenders to the podium, the challenge seems to be the leitmotif of the Tour de Ski.
Among the big names, even convincing proof of Dario Cologna, though compelled once again to postpone the appointment with success in front of a friendly audience. The Swiss has sailed in the top positions throughout the race, finishing in fifth place, by just one tenth ahead of Matti Heikkinen.
In the 10 also Marcus Hellner, called to resist almost alone the fate of Sweden in the absence of Calle Halfvarsson, Iivo Niskanen, Alex Harvey and Simen Hegstad Krüger.
The best of the Italians was, according to prediction, Francesco De Fabiani. The Aosta Valley has still proven to be still far from the standards last season, stopping at a 20th position. A point also Giandomenico Salvadori, 25th, and Federico Pellegrino, 29th. Out of the 30, however, Maicol Rastelli (41st), Dietmar Nöckler (53rd) and Giorgio Di Centa (56th).
The new general classification of the Tour de Ski naturally sees always Ustiugov the lead with 18.9 seconds over Sundby. Already very far all the others: Harvey, third, pays 59.6 seconds. Follow Andrey Larkov (now 11th), Emil Iversen (18th), Cologna and Andrew Musgrave (17th). Eighth Pellegrino, while Da Fabiani salt in 21st place.
The ranking of the World Cup see more balance in Sundby head, thanks to today's 46-0 leads to 181 lengths margin of Krogh (636 against 455). Iversen is third with 367 points, closely followed by Heikkinen (363) and Ustiugov (350).
