Ski Skett, an Italian company that contributed to the birth and development of the skiroll market, presented the two top models in the Elite range: Skate Alu and Classic Alu.

The Elite Skate Alu is a skating skiroll that features a frame entirely made of aluminum that has a wheelbase of 600 mm. This model due to the characteristics of aluminum is particularly light and easy to handle and designed for dynamic workouts. The dimensions and the shape of the wheels of the Elite Skate allow an excellent inclination during the skating step, and are proposed in two different types:
- the PL, slow and comfortable with high grip PE, for quick workouts
For this product, Ski Skett also offers some options, such as stop & go, speed reducer and anti-return.
The Elite Classic Alu instead is the classic roller skis designed primarily for technically more trained athletes. This model, whose frame is made entirely of aluminum, in addition to offering a low weight allows to obtain the same base of the snow ski. The frame has a wheelbase of 700 mm and mounts wheels with a size of 74x40 mm. Vast is the range of wheels that Ski Skett offers for this model, ranging from the slow CL with high grip, through the slow PL but with soft rubber, up to the PV suitable for fast workouts.Among the options available for the 'Elite Classic are the stop & go, the speed reducer and the front anti-return.
We have tested both products at the Carnia Arena International Biathlon Center in Forni Avoltri, where we met the national cross-country instructor Mirco Romanin. The company of the Carnic technician we have subjected to a long test the two skis issued by Ski Skett whose results can be consulted in the video above.
