LEAPrus 3912: the new eco-hotel on Mount Elbrus

The geographical location of Mount Elbrus is fascinating: it is located at the center of the northern chain of the Caucasus, Russia, halfway between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. '' And a mountain of volcanic origin, whose crater, which is no longer active, it is characterized by twin peaks e5621 5642 meters high, respectively. All these features give the Mount Elbrus unique climatic and environmental conditions, characterized by a particularly serene sky. The entire region has a great potential for tourism in the process of strong growth and this new eco-hotel represents the first step.

The new station accommodation is organized into four completely prefabricated buildings. The modular structures have been designed and built in Italy by an Italian team completely and then transported to Russia. The installation on the slopes dell'Elbrus took place during July. After the final assembly and acceptance test of the technological systems today the hotel is fully operational. It consists of independent units that offer 49 beds, living room-kitchen restaurant, a reception and a dedicated area for accommodation for employees; addition to sanitation, sewage treatment plant and the sophisticated technological systems. The main feature of this implementation is that all structures are made with durable materials of the highest quality, equipped with advanced technologies and highly eco-friendly. The goal of the designers was to obtain the best possible performance in terms of energy efficiency and home comfort so as to give the echo structure complete self-sufficiency. The casings structural drastically reduce the energy requirements which means that the shelter is able to self produce the energy needed for lighting, for heating and maintaining the heat of the indoor air and hot water. The picture is completed with a specific internal air circulation system with heat recovery, LED lighting particularly advantageous and energy, floor heating and snow melting system for the supply of water to the water system and health with a sewage treatment plant, specifically designed for the high altitude, which allows you to break down almost completely the dispersion of organic pollutants in the environment. As if that was not enough the whole system is regulated and controlled via satellite, facilitating effective management of the facility throughout the year.
