The worsening of the pandemic has led Interski, the English tour operator that organizes white weeks and stays for young people under 18 in the Aosta Valley areas, to cancel all bookings for the winter season 2020/2021.

The decision to cancel the holidays in the Aosta Valley was communicated to the hoteliers on 6 November via an email from Interski itself which explains the impossibility of guaranteeing the safety of staff and customers. In addition, the email reads: "The government restrictions in place mean that unfortunately this winter season cannot go on. Such restrictions include the imposition of quarantine on entry into both Italy and France and on return entry to the UK. The UK government's recommendation is against all non-essential travel to Italy and the Ministry of Education's recommendation is against any school travel abroad. Without mentioning the various limitations that are in place for each specific activity within the Aosta Valley and Italy and the ever-changing landscape of Covid-19 "
The English company Interski brings about 10 thousand young students every year to ski on the snow of the Aosta Valley out of a total of 500 thousand arrivals in the winter season.
