In recent days the Regional Council has confirmed that for 2020 and 2021 an investment of about 10 million euros is expected, 2 million more than this year, for the construction of new ski lifts.

"In the Valle d''Aosta the average snow fall rates are above 2,100 meters, with a lower impact than in other areas. For this reason, it is opportune to reason in the logic of designing new plants if possible between 2,000 and 3,100 meters, without prejudice to the fact that not all the plants have a skiing vocation "explained Luigi Bertschy, Regional Councilor for Transport.
The need to invest also comes from the fact that some ski lifts are dated and are about to end their technical life.

Campitello Matese, sciare in Molise a due ore da Roma
